Every season in Vancouver is so distinct. Fall is definitely one of our favourite times to photograph engagement sessions in Vancouver. The rusty, warm tones fall produces are so romantic and inviting. This is the season of nostalgia, apple cider, pumpkin spice and quiet café corners.

Fraser and Leah wanted both nature and city settings for their fall Engagement Session. So, we started their photoshoot in and around Vancouver’s Gastown. You can’t beat these historic streets lined with heritage buildings and hidden alleyways. We totally lost track of time capturing Fraser and Leah in this setting. Before heading to Stanley Park’s seawall, famous for its vibrant fall colours, we popped up onto a rooftop overlooking the Dominion Building. This is our favourite building in Vancouver and definitely suited Fraser and Leah’s fall engagement session with its red and orange tones. We arrived at Stanley Park just in time to catch the last light and blazing fall leaves. The light drizzle and city lights added to the melancholic Autumn atmosphere.
